English version:

Once there was a man who was a very good archer. He could shoot one arrow, hit the target, and then with another arrow, split the first arrow. He would go from village to villa demonstrating his skills. And everybody would gather and applaud, because they had never seen anything like it.

Once day, he came to a little village, shot an arrow from his bow, and everybody applauded, “Bravo, bravo.” Then, after everybody had finished applauding, a voice in the back of the crowd called out, “Agh. It’s only a matter of practice.”

The archer heard that, and it disturbed him, but he continued on. He took another arrow, shot it, split the first arrow, and again everybody yelled, “Bravo, bravo, bravo.” And the same voice said, “Agh. It’s only a matter of practice.”

After his show was over, the archer was upset. Here he was, demonstrating his greatest skill, and this man kept saying, “Only a matter of practice.” So he went to the back of the crowd and found the man. He was carrying a bamboo pole, with one pot of oil hanging from the front and another from the back, trying to sell oil.

The master archer said to him, “How dare you say it’s only a matter of practice? What do you do? You sell oil. Look at me. People come to see me from far away bacause my aim is so good.”

The man with the oil looked at the archer and said, “Agh, it’s only a matter of practice. Now, let me show you.”

So the oil merchant pulled out a bottle, put a coin that had a hole in it on top, and poured the oil from his pot through the small hole without spilling a drop. He turned to the archer and said, “Now, it’s your turn.” And the archer didn’t even try. He understood that it is a matter of practice.

‘White Goat’ machine turns waste paper into toilet roll!

By Compassion

Tue, Feb 2 05:00 PM

London, Feb 2 (ANI): A Japanese company has created a machine which turns waste office paper into toilet rolls.

Users feed waste office paper into the oddly titled White Goat machine, which shreds it, mixes it with water and pulps it.

The 63,000-pound device then flattens the pulp and dries it before churning out rolls of toilet paper. It costs just 6p to create each roll.

Makers Oriental say the toilet paper machine is aimed at large companies which would produce a lot of waste paper.

It takes 40 sheets of A4 paper to create one roll of toilet paper.

The machine was unveiled about six weeks ago at the Eco Products trade fair in Tokyo.

“I can think of several people who’d like to flush their workload down the loo, but this takes it to another level,” the Telegraph quoted James Holland, editor of the gadget website Electricpig, as saying.

“I love the idea, and eco warriors will go barmy for it too. I guess you’ll need to be wary of any stray staples though,” he added.

Oriental insist that any stray matter is removed from documents by the White Goat machine. (ANI)

Hyderabad, Feb. 3: Following the footseps of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin plans to donate his entire fortune after his death, the Russian agency RIA Novosti quoted Mr Potanin from an interview with The Financial Times.

The Russian Tycoon says, “Large inheritances can kill heirs,” adding “a million [dollars] handed over

from inheritance helps a person to receive a good education, find employment without haste and find himself. A transferred billion [dollars] kills him and deprives him of the sense of life”.

He made his fortune during the loans-for-shares auctions in the mid-1990s when Russia’s cash-strapped government sold the country’s biggest industrial assets for a song, Mr Potanin he had not made up his mind yet on specific charitable projects. He has a daughter and two sons.

His step comes after repeated requests by the Russian President, Mr Dmitry Medvedev, and the Prime Minister, Mr Vladimir Putin, urging businessmen to spend money on charitable projects.

“My children are growing up, their father is a billionaire and a well-known guy. They, for one, are in my shadow, and secondly what motivation in life do they have to achieve something?” he said.

“In this sense, I consider it a very correct step to hand over one’s fortune for the service of society and not for inheritance. I am going to follow the example of (Bill) Gates and (Warren) Buffet.”
