Studio photography – meet Celine

By Photography

A week before Chinese New Year, I went for a studio shooting together with Nick, James and other photonians to the Hananica Studio. It’s a photography studio located in Taman Kota Laksamana and well equipped with lighting equipment. Celine was the model invited and showed her expertise in modelling. She posed well and gave us so much cooperation with her happy smile all the time.

We would have to thank Nick and James, who were teaching us to setup the background and the lighting for the shooting. They are more experience in studio shooting than anyone of us; however they were willing to share their knowledge with us and telling us the importance of communication between the photographer and the model.

Post-processing would be another hard part to work out since most photos were taken in RAW format. Below are some of my shots after processing:

Photography of Melaka night view

By Beautiful Melaka, Juesatta art, Photography

Cheng Hoon Teng temple of Melaka

It’s the eve of Chinese New Year 2010. Most Chinese should have had their reunion dinner with family by now and settling down for the count down of the first day of Chinese New Year. It’s a warm and cheerful night now.

May those we loved who just left us rest in peace and always be remembered. May we all be grateful of what we are having now and appreciate the people who are with us.

Happy happy chinese new year and Gong Hei Fat Choi. Before I signing off to count down, prepare to make blessing and pay respect to my ancestors like most Chinese would do, let me share some photos of the night view of Melaka town with everyone:

Model photography – meet Yovi, Pohling, Crystal, and Agnes

By Juesatta art, Photography

Few weeks ago, I was lucky to be able to go for an outing with photonians together with four models, Yovi, Pohling, Crystal, and Agnes.

We went to a rubber estate in Krubong, where it took us about 30 minutes drive from the central town of Melaka. The road was tough but we managed to reach there by 3 MPVs. Every photographers had a chance to shoot with each of the models and we spent 3-4 hours over there shooting until the sunset. Everyone was exhausted.

I have to thank all the moderators from photonian.com to organise this great shooting event for the enthusiasts  and also the four sweet models who gave us full cooperation.
