SEREMBAN, Sat — A window pane of the Grace Global Prayer Church in Rasah here was found broken last night, believed to be the work of a vandal, Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Osman Salleh said today.

He said the police were confident of catching the suspect because a security guard had seen a man damaging the window at about 7.30pm.

Church secretary David Raju said his wife noticed the damaged window and glass splinters on the ground floor of the church, located in a row of two-storey shophouses, when they had gone there at night.

This is the second church in Seremban to have suffered damage in the wake of a Kuala Lumpur High Court decision on Dec 31 allowing the Catholic weekly magazine, Herald, to use the word “Allah” (God) in its publications.

On January 11, the door of the Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB) Church in Lakeview Square, Seremban 2, was scorched by vandals. — BERNAMA
