一隻小海龟在海中游泳，在海面碰到一个从来没有见过的东西，感觉十分新奇，便向前问：「你是什麽东西啊？」
这个东西回答说：「我是龙！」说完便幽然地漂离开了。
经过了一百年，小海龟已成了大海龟，在海面上，他又碰到了这一百年前的老朋友，让他惊奇的是，自己从小海龟变成了大海龟，可是这龙的形体却一点也没有改变！
海龟自以为是世界最长寿的动物，此刻却碰到了更厉害的角色，很吃味的问道：
「你是什麽龙啊，为何都不会改变，也不会衰老呢？」
只听一个声音隐隐地自对方传出 ………..「喔！我是保丽龙！」

I remember reading this story from a book I could not remember the name:
Four youngsters were friends and they chatted at a coffee shop. After a while, they felt thirsty and ordered 4 cups of tea. When the tea was served,
A pointed at one of the cups and said: This is a “cup”.
B said: No, no, no. 这是一个杯啊。(This is a cup in Chinese). It’s called “bei”.
C said: Bukan lah! Ini cawan. (Incorrect! This is a cup in Malay). Guys, it’s a “cawan”.
A then raised his volume and said: You are wrong. “Cup” is the right word. I always call it a cup. It is a “cup”.
B shook his head and said: Impossible. Everyone calls it “bei” in my country.
C shouted: Nonsense! I called it “cawan” since I was young. Everyone told me that.
D smiled, took the cup of tea up, took a sip and relaxed.

It’s the eve of Chinese New Year 2010. Most Chinese should have had their reunion dinner with family by now and settling down for the count down of the first day of Chinese New Year. It’s a warm and cheerful night now.
May those we loved who just left us rest in peace and always be remembered. May we all be grateful of what we are having now and appreciate the people who are with us.
Happy happy chinese new year and Gong Hei Fat Choi. Before I signing off to count down, prepare to make blessing and pay respect to my ancestors like most Chinese would do, let me share some photos of the night view of Melaka town with everyone:
李茂东先生在培二小学现场画竹
前几天我在香林小学遇到了李茂东先生。在嘉宾致词时，他很幽默的交给我一张字条，写着：你的网站的梅花不是我画的。
还记得李茂东水墨画家的主题？里面有个梅花水墨画。原来茂东先生到访这个网站，看到了我所刊登的梅花水墨画写着李茂东先生的作品其实不是他所画，所以让我知道。
之后，我和茂东先生交谈了一会儿，了解了他一些事情。茂东先生热爱画画。除了水墨画，他也喜欢铅笔画。在十多年前，他喜欢背着背包装满了绘画器材，到处去写生。他只学了短期的水墨画，而之后却不断地磨练，才有我们所看到的成就。
平时文静的李茂东，为人其实和蔼可亲，有时还很幽默。在他和宋群礼先生等书法家在一起的时候，我看见了几个大孩子在游乐，很豪爽，一点架子都没有。在茂东先生作画的时候，有时很轻描淡写的画，有时却全神专注的画，也许这就是他描绘人生，在生活找到一个平衡点。
我带了朋友Murphy到鸡场街的庚寅年“春暖人间、家家贴春联”的活动场地去选购春联和水墨画。Murphy是一个很响应慈善的人。活动所卖的春联和水墨画的款项将捐给峇章圣约翰洗肾中心，帮助患有肾脏病的患者。Murphy很豪爽的买了几副茂东先生的水墨画，和几副春联。然后他也让我拍摄这几副作品：
Marina and Toyota MRS
Last weekend, I went to a models and sport cars shooting event with the photonian. We spent a good time there shooting the lovely models and stunning sport cars.

I would like to express my apology to Fanny. Fanny was the first model I shoot for this event. I was not ready for this event by doing research before I went. Fanny is a gorgeous model and posed well, however, I was not able to get a good angle to snap especially this was the first time I took models and sport cars.
This would be a good lesson for everyone including me to be prepared for any photography event before hand by doing research online and check out some good examples taken by professional photographers. Another good advice I got from a friend of min, Han: don’t rush into the shooting when you reach the place, calm yourself before any shooting and get into the mood. You have look around the environment, imagine the pictures you will be taking.
Thanks to photonian moderators for organising such a wonderful shooting, the gorgeous models who being so friendly and cooperative and the owners of cars who being so patient and kind with us. Below are some of the shots I have taken and share with everyone:
